I work as an iOS Technical lead or as a Senior Engineer for Swift and Objective-C projects, having 5 years of development experience building several apps.
I analyze the use cases needed by a product, its context within the organization, and then start to design the technological stack and tools to implement them.
I'm using node-js, typescript and Firebase to create the services needed for some products I've been working with. Also, I was an Oracle DBA and have a fair understanding of MySQL databases and SQL language.
I've made a career in IT starting as a Help desk technician and ended up as a SAP Software Factory Manager for all spanish speaking countries in South America. Then, as being the SouthAmerica's representative for IT Innovation, I had the chance to start exploring new technologies to be applied in new projects within the Software Factory I was running. So my first prototypes in iOS were in Objective-C consuming an SAP SOAP web service we have created to export orders data from the SD Module. By the time I finished building the POCs I already was captivated by the mac development vibe.
My first project was with a UK's domotics startup, creating their iOS client app for their house control product. Then I started to work for some other startup related projects (retail).
I entered to Globant to work in their JPMC dedicated team in Buenos Aires for almost a year, then I started working in their startup-like team, to first stabilize their main app: StarMeUp. I ended as being the iOS Technical Lead for 3 new products: Better Me, Be There, and Take Part. Also started exploring the Product design areas, acting as Product Owner of Take Part and co-Product Owner in Be There.
Been working with Truelogic for VTS startup project in New York. I had the chance to travel to NYC for a month and then been working remotely with their team to revamp the main features they had for their mobile app.
I was working at Mercado Libre for the Mercado Pago app as a Technical Lead for the Payers Growth team. I have the responsability for the quality of the codebase of 4 mobile libraries that are embeded in the app. Also I have to participate in the architectural decisions for supporting changes in backend and middle-ends that are related to those libraries.
I'm working with the QRC team that is handling the payment experience of the app. We work in Swift 5, developing features that have unit and UI testing with CI (buildkite) on every PR to be merged to the development branch.
